Girlfriends & Grapes

This month I hosted a fun wine tasting event for a handful of some of my best girlfriends. I thought it would be fun to combine some of my favorite things, friends, wine and branding. Yep, I can't be a marketer without creating a brand for the event complete with logo, purple carpet and Step and Repeat backdrop.

We swirled, saw, sniffed, and sipped 3 whites and 3 reds carefully paired with cheeses and small bites to complement each sip.

Evenings pairings:

• Moscato - Prosciutto and cantaloupe; Munster
• Sauvignon Blanc - Shrimp Cocktail;  Havarti
• Chardonnay - Tomato, Basil Mozzarella Salad; Gruyere
• Pinot Noir - Antipasti; Monterey Jack
• Merlot - Meatballs and Sauce; Gouda
• Cabernet Sauvignon - Bruschetta; Dark Chocolate; Sharp Cheddar

We all had a fabulous time. So much so that I think I'll make this an annual event!
